- The padding function has been improved, operating on a per-pixel basis. Previously, it operated with a scaling factor between 0 and 0.9. Now, simply enter the desired padding value in pixels, and it will automatically adjust according to the texture size you've specified.

This Python script is designed to enhance the trim sheet UV workflow in Maya, drawing inspiration from the techniques developed by Insomniac Games. The-Ultimate-Trim-Texturing-Techniques
- Auto-Align UV Shells: Automatically align UV shells based on their sizes and specified trim sizes.
- Texture Resolution & Padding Controls: Fine-tune the texture resolution and padding scale to meet your specific needs.
- Randomize & Match Trim Height Options: Enable randomization of UV shell positions and choose to match trim heights.(Randomization is a valuable feature when you have multiple trim sections of the same size. It will positions various shells within the corresponding section, distributing them randomly for a more dynamic layout.)
- Save & Load Configurations: Preserve your preferred settings in a config file and load them whenever needed.
- Manual Alignment: Easily align your selected UV shell to the center of a predefined trim location for precise control.
- Randomize U position button for more variation.
